About

Τhe non-profit organization DAN.C.CE Unitiva was established in 2008, under the artistic direction of Frosso Trousa, with the aim of promoting contemporary Greek choreographic creation, both in Greece and internationally.
Throughout its dynamic trajectory, the organization has played an active role in empowering professional and emerging dancers and choreographers, as well as engaging amateur practitioners, by fostering the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and artistic practices rooted in contemporary dance. DAN.C.CE Unitiva develops and presents dance festivals, seminars, and workshops, while also supporting artistic mobility through residency programs dedicated to creation and research.
Strongly oriented towards collaboration and networking, the organization works systematically with artistic institutions in Greece and abroad, integrating best practices through international synergies. DAN.C.CE Unitiva is affiliated with major European networks such as IETM and Spider Expand, has been a member of Aerowaves, the leading European platform for contemporary dance since 2015, and joined the European contemporary dance platform Moving Balkans in 2024.
DAN.C.CE Unitiva has been organizing the international Arc For Dance Festival since 2008, contributing significantly to the visibility of contemporary dance in Greece, while in 2019 it launched Moving Colors, the only contemporary dance festival in the country primarily dedicated to young audiences.
From its early stages, the organization has maintained a close and continuous collaboration with the Dance Cultural Centre dance studio, an important educational and creative hub that has been active in the field of dance since 2001.
